Starbase 157 Alpha is an experimental, highly technological starbase.
Replacing the old Starbase 157.
Full of innovative technology, responsible for the research, design, implimentation and mass production of all new ships and technologies therein.

Commanded by Deputy C'n'C High Admiral Daniels Adama
& Deputy C'n'C High Admiral Matthew Littler.

Until Recently the starbase was also responsible for tracking down borg vessels and with its programming and high capability to either return the drones to invididuals or should all attempts fail, to destroy the vessel.

But The Borg Queen is now a valued part of the Universal Federation, and explained the nature of the new collective, and the confusion and conflict created during the proccess, some vessels are now rouge, so the starbase has been modified to attrack the rogue vessels, make contact with them and offer them the choice of remaining in the collective, with individuality intact, or leaving the collective to be in the federation as their former selves.
But should this fail and the vessel is hostile, the starbases prime objective still stands, the vessel will be destroyed.

The starbase is full of all the latest technologies:
maneuverable as all ships are.
Powered by and capable of Slipstream engines.
Invincible shielding.
Ablative Hull Armour.
Transphazic Torpedos.
And Multi Vector Assault Mode.
(In the event of an attack the starbase will seperate, allowing vessels docked within to remain inplace, while several other sections conduct combat capabilities)

Co-Deputy CnC High Admiral Daniels Adama, is now in command of the Pegasus Galaxy and Co-Deputy CnC High Admiral Matthew Littler has been left in sole command of Starbase 157 Alpha.
