The storyline so far for The Milky Way Galaxy of The New Universal Starfleet.

Admiral Janeway, Kat Voyager Janeway, Rommy, The Andromeda, Voyager & Admiral Daniels Adama are in The Pegasus Galaxy preparing for the launch of Atlantis.

Meanwhile Admiral Janeway's husband, as joint deputy CnC, has been left not only in command of Starbase 157 Alpha, but incharge of general Starfleet HQ operations.

"Computer what is the stardate today?"

*The stardate is 201109.19*

"Thankyou computer begin log entry"

The computer beeps to acknowledge.

"My log stardate....., computer eraze that and start again I guess I'd best make this more official as I've been left in command, darn rules, ranks and, you know computer I've enjoyed the challenge but sometimes I just prefer to get on with my work"

The computer with added personality responds *Dont I know it, recording erazed, rebeginning on your next word, concentrate*

"Yeah thanx, oh wait thats not in the log is it, oh damn"

*Negative*

"Good ok, Deputy CnC High Admiral's Log, since my wife, ah I mean Admiral Janeway & joint deputy Daniels have been away, I've found my self not only in command of this wonderful station, but also responsible for the running of the fleet, no doubt though my wife, ah Admiral Janeway is fully aware of everything going on and could appear at a moments notice, though I doubt she would Im sure she trusts me and my capabilities. Well surficer to say I havent had to deal with any incidents, allowing me to continue with the fleet refitting and building. I only hope my wife and ofcourse everyone in Pegasus has had a similar free from incident time there. I expect any day now Atlantis will be rushing her way to our galaxy. I must admit I wish I could have gone with them, I only hope that they atleast drop out of slipstream here enroute so I can look at her beauty before they head to HQ, that is the stationary HQ as Im to understand Atlantis will then become a mobile HQ......"

The computer interupts with *I thought this was an official log so far its rambling*

"No I've made some good, command points, its not my fault theres nothing to report of what you would deem value"

I continue on

"The computer could do with a few tweaks I must add, only joking, actually I've enjoyed her company as I often do, I like my time alone rather than being hastled with everyday life and crew, commands etc, anything really involving rank, orders, even though I out rank all of them bar two. But its nice to know the computer is capable of a little conversation. Well today Im finishing the refitting of an old Ambassador class ship so far there have been no problems, End Log"

The computer beeps to signal the log entry has stopped.

"Ok computer my old friend what you say we get to work on the old girl"

*Affirmative*

"Excellent meet me in engineering hanger 5, actually belay that I cant be bothered to walk, initiate site to site transport and take me there please"

*Initiating transport*

And in a flash Im in the hanger looking at the glorious Ambassador class ship.
I check my duty sheet to see where I left off and what needs doing next.

Some of the starbase engineering staff are already at work on several tasks I left them, normally starfleet staff would ask for a report on entry, or crew would stand to attention when a ranking officer would enter a room, but these people have gotten to know me and vice versa, we trust that each is doing as they should to the best they can, without all the fuss of rank getting in the way and slowing progress. After all, standing to attention until being told atease, then giving reports, all take precious time they could be using to continue their work.

"Ah the transporter system oh joy,...." I point to 2 crew and then at the ship "....you're with me, transporter bay 2 today folks lets get to it"

Meanwhile in the Milky Way Delta Quadrant,

Captain Neelix, of the USS Talaxia and his crew, the former Talaxian asteroid colony, are now in the process of mediating on their homeworld with the Haakonians, former Talaxian enemies, to live together peacfully under the Universal Starfleet family.

Much thanx to Kathryn Kat Voyager Janeway, much of the metrion cloud has been dispersed, but as a starting point some of it remained, and is upto the Haakonian/Talaxian cohabitation to completely rid the planet of this disaster.

This has now been accomplished as have many of the deligations, they are now preparing them selves for full integration and duty within the Fleet.

Upon return of High Admiral Janeway, should the Haakonian/Talaxian integration be complete, Captain Neelix will be promoted to Admiral, then being the leader of the Milky Way Sub Galactic Region Delta Quadrant, with the Talaxian homeworld being the base of operations for that quadrant. Subsequent ranks of his crew and homeworld will follow under his guidance.

Atlantis has arrived with both Voyagers & The Andromeda.

In orbit of Earth right on target for main HQ.

A subspace message comes in from High Admiral Littler informing High Admiral Janeway about an Ambassador class starship that has gone missing.

"Damn it we've only just arrived, anyone would think this fleet cant run without us."

I patch the message through to all ships to inform them

"Dont worry girls we arent going to cancel shore leave, he's going to have to deal with it. Well folks we have a choice we can remain in standard orbit or we can land. Atlantis you have a clear path to land on the ocean outside main HQ near Golden Gate Bridge. Voyager, Andromeda, landing bays 2 & 4 are clear"

Atlantis has landed in the ocean outside HQ.

Myself, Dr Weir, John, Rodney, Teyla have taken a puddle jumper and landed outside the main entrance to main HQ.

"Admiral Janeway, Flt Admiral Rommy, we're going to give everyone a brief tour and then meet in my office. I've ordered an engineering team to report to the duplicate Voyager to give her the once over. Captain Janeway and her crew have been given their new ranks, and will be joining us shortly."

Voyager has safely landed along with Atlantis, an amazing trip through slipstream, unlike the quantum slipstream we used.

My self and Chakotay are preparing to join everyone in the entrance hall of HQ, we're just getting the girls ready.

The EMH has braught a hovering crib.

I must say its relieving to finally be home on earth after so long.

*After a short while we beam to the entrance hall*

I look around astonished

"Its a little different than I remember it, its beautiful, huh and this is only the entrance, I cant wait to see the rest"

I notice Kat, V & Rommy arent here yet. I tap my badge

"Rommy, Kat, V, this is Admiral Janeway, former captain, omg this could get confusing haha, the girls are anxious to see you, will you be joining us?"

The Andromeda & I have landed on bay 4. Im walking through the corridors to the transporter room when Admiral Janeway's com comes through.

"Yes Admiral on my way to the transporter room now,..." knowing the channel is open I add "... Kat, V I'll meet you both there Rommy out"

I dismiss The Andromeda crew and grant them R'n'R, Andromeda powers down all engines and turns the ship to grey mode.

High Admiral's log stardate 201110.12

2 days ago one of refit Ambassador class starships went missing shortly after being sent to the shipyard and await her crew.

My wife has just returned home, sadly Atlantis didnt stop by on her way, but I'll get to see her Im sure. Anyway off subject, High Admiral Janeway has been informed of the mysterious disappearance. Im now to conduct a search and retrieve mission.

End Log.

"Mr Barkley!!" I yell "Is Admiral Daniels Bellerophon still docked"

"Ah I think so, lemme check......" replies Reg giving a brief pause before shouting "Yes it is why?!" he shouts back

"Fire her up, we're going after that ship!" I yell trying to talk louder than the engineers making lots of racket around me

"We sir, you mean you're comming along too?" asks Reg

"Ah well actually when I say me, I mean you, afterall who's going to keep an eye on all these eager engineers" I laughingly respond.

Space travel still makes me a little sick, just staying on this starbase sometimes makes me hurl. Plus if theres a battle starfleet cant exactly loose its best engineer now can they.

"Understood Sir, give me an hour, gotta rally the troops as it were" replies Reg

"Thats fine, where ever she is she aint going anywhere, hmm then again she might be haha, you're in command of the mission, let me know when you ready, I'll wave at ya from the docking bay, only joking launch when ready, just dont you go missing too" I joke

"Ah ha, ah no sir that, that wont happen, ok Barkley out!"

As the babies begin to fuss I notice Kat bursting to help.

"Kat hunny, would you and V like to accompany us, or would you prefer to take the babies down to the holo lounge, or may be the cresh or gardens. They might like the fresh air and grounds keeper Boothby is excellent with children also, perhaps you could introduce them to him, your choice"

Kat is already very familiar with main HQ and although I know she likes showing people around I have a feeling she would be much happier spending the day with my counter parts children.

Admiral Janeway looks at Kat & V and smiles. The EMH and 7 both nod at Kat & V encouragingly.
