The storyline so far for The Andromeda Galaxy of The New Universal Starfleet.

Being one of the closest galaxies to the Milky Way, The Andromeda Galaxy is one of the first to be explored in the new universe.

Ironically on her own private scout mission, this is where Admiral Janeway found and recovered The Andromeda Ascendent.

This galaxy is currently under the watchful eye of Fleet Admiral Jen Gilles.
She and her teams are venturing deeper into this galaxy and exploring its secrets and what it may have to offer.

Update from fb groups.

Unfortunately for the time being, jen has been remove, her accounts have been hacked by a bad person, once safe she is welcome to return and her character will be kept until further notice as we will write for her.

In our forum, Lush Night Club is on starbase gxa-01 in the andromeda galaxy.

High Admiral Janeway is on vacation on earth with her family. On our Milkyway board.

On the fb group, changes being that they are, they have been at lush.

Details aside, the vacation is comming to an end and they are amost ready to return to duty, to welcome new crew and begin assignments.

Without realising it, Atlantis has already entered and exited slipstream, we are now in the Andromeda Galaxy.

My mind must have wondered more than I had anticipated.

Smooth ride I didnt feel a thing.

Dr Weir & I arrived at Starbase GAX-01 safely.

We've been here for several days now, the new Flt Admiral has settled in quite well and all is running quite smoothly. We informed her of the missing Ambassador Class starship and she has relayed it through the quadrants and is now assisting in a search operation.

Atlantis (Dr Weir) has also sent out 3 teams in puddle jumpers to search.

John sheppard and his team are the first to return after 3 days searching various worlds and surrounding space.

As they dock with Atlantis and walk into the control tower I can hear a familiar hightened discussion comming from Dr McKay.

"I sill say we should have insisted on trying, I personally think I developed a rather good rapour with her, she was willing to help us, I could feel it" shouts Rodney

"Leave it McKay it wasnt to be, and if by rapour you mean she seen you as a light snack then yeah I have to agree....." he looks up and sees us "...Kathryn, Elizabeth!"

"John welcome back, any luck?" I aks followed by "whats gotten into Rodney this time"

John laughs and replies "Oh nothing but your friendly neighbourhood man eater..... literally. It would be fair to say a race of sirens, kinda kreepy almost like the wraith, only these literally eat people, well people they dont like, lucky for us we were welcommed by them, although anymore time in Rodney's delecate hands and we would have been tomorrows desert"

Teyla laughs and drops her bag to the floor "Indeed, Rodney has a nack of rubbing people up the wrong way, but it keeps us on our toes and balanced I guess, unlike some who like to get too comfortable" looking at John

John shrugs and replies "What... hey you cant blame me they're sirens, come on Teyla, you know you're the only one for me, I was being diplomatic, trying to compensate for Rodneys diplomatic skills, or lack there of"

Rodney simply shakes his head and looking full of him self as usual "Lovers tiff, they've been at it since we got there, if you ask me I was the one keeping us on balance, oh yeah John is the regular 007, flaunting with the fairer new species of everyone we meet"

"Ok Rodney thankyou, ...., dismissed go get comfortable, Dr Weir and I will debrief you in an hour" I say

As they leave Dr Weir comments "Just another day in Atlantis" laughs and then heads up the stairs to her office.

I join her.

But before we get there, the Stargate activates and all sirens sound. One of the crew shouts "Unathourised Incoming wormhole"

We rush to the control station, Dr Weir peers over the balcony at the gate "Here in Andromeda, thats not right, Raise the shield!" she shouts

As the gate shield is raised, the gate deactivates and the crewman reports its a transmission from Deputy CnC High Admiral Littler on Starbase 157 Alpha.

Elizabeth & I look at each other puzzled as we're not expecting any contact from him, perhaps an update.

I joke "huh missing me already most likely"

Elizabeth smirks "Lets see it...." she pauses ".. that is if its ok"

I nod "ofcourse go ahead"

The first part of the message is about Rommy's fleet, commenting that his sensors detected recent events and that of the Kazon and the fleet are attending soon.

I was fully aware of all that was happening anyway, I seen Kat & Beka's vision, but ignored it knowing they are more than capable of dealing with it.
I also now know an old familiar face is on the scene, Hash. Im a little unhappy about the weapons trade but I have a feeling she will help if she can.

The second part of the message disturbs me the most. He reports that his earlier suspicions of the Ambassador Class ship being here in Andromeda Galaxy was wrong. After hearing certain com traffic and running scans on the scene of the crime as it were, he now believes the Hirogen are responsible for the theft of the ship and the trail to Andromeda was a false signature.
A few months ago the Hirogen were in Cardassian space, we never determined if it was an alliance or not, our operative was killed in the intelligence mission and all we could retrieve was a damaged data storage device.

But putting two and two together, it now seems more likely that not only do the Kazon have new weapons, but the Hirogen they are conspiring with have our ship.

Dr Weir looks at me and comments "Oh no!"
"Yeah it sure looks that way" I respond knowing what each of us was thinking.
Dr Weir shouts "Recall all teams immediately, inform them of whats just happened!"

"I'll go meet Flt Adm Gilles and explain, we'll depart as soon as the teams are back" I reply

"Agreed." Atlantis replies as she storms off to her office franticly.

I transport to the Starbase and head for the Flt Adm's office.
She isnt there so I head for the control room, she's here.
I relay the information to her and she replies that she will keep her search going for now incase we're wrong, she laughs "two eyes are better than one"

I add "very true keep me posted" and head back to Atlantis, as Flt Adm Gilles sends out the information through the quadrants of Andromeda Galaxy.

Onboard Atlantis awaiting the teams to return, I send a thought to Kat that we're on our way, Rommy & V also hear me, but I insist they dont tip our hand and keep our arrival a secret.

I ask them to do their best to get Hash onside. I dont blame her for the weapons sale, she's just doing her work as she has right to, but her help could be invaluable, plus I would also like to see her again and catch up.

Your waiting and preparing gets interrupted when sensors detect a black hole opens nearby. Not close enough to set the station and ships in danger, but close enough to be noticed. Once it has developed completely the black EH2 slowly makes her way out of it.

After the ship is out, the hole collapses and vanishes as fast as it had appeared.

After taking a position the EH2 does nothing, but sending out a distress signal. Her shields are dropped and systems work on low levels.

The other two teams have arrived, but just before we engage the engines, tactical station notices the black hole appear and disappear, and the ship that came through is now sending out a distress signal.

Just before he can comment, Dr Weir comes rushing out of her officer
"Kathryn!" she shouts
"Yes I feel it too, its our friend" I comment meaning the exact opposite.

The officer relays the information and is hovering over the com relays as he asks "should we repond"

Both Elizabeth & I shout at the same time "NO!, its a trap"

"But ma'am they've just narrowly escaped a black hole, or should I say have been spat out by one, they could be seriously hurt and need our help, isnt it or duty to help if we can?" disobeying orders he opens a hail "This is the city ship Atlantis to the vessel near the black hole do you require assistance?"

Elizabeth grabs the officer and yanks him out of his chair to his feet
"Damn you what the hell do you think you're doing, dont you ever disobey an order again"

As she seats him back down I comment "Crewman you're dismissed, security escort him to sickbay now" Turning to elizabeth I comment "You're right ofcourse, but he might not have been able to help it, he needs to be checked out"

Elizabeth nods as she watches the officer being taken away, she smiles at him almost appologising for her stark but appropriate reaction, as she sits in his position and I stand behind her looking at the screen.

"Its moving but slowly, they got our hail and are moving in, but maintaining the illusion of damage, they arent stupid I'll give them that" she comments and I nod.

"Helm keep us steady do not move an inch until we're ready for slipstream" I say very quietly

Dr Weir and I are already fully aware of what this vessel is.

Just then Teyla and John come rushing into the control room she's very shaken up she holds me tight and says to both of us
"There's an evil presence lurking a short distance from here, we must not go any where near it, though I fear for some it may be too late"

Aside from the tactical officers strange behaviour I was unaware it could effect anyone conciously "Explain" says Elizabeth

"Dr Beckett spoke to me on my way down here, sickbay is going stir crazy, patients sleep walking, attempting to escape, fighting each other in their sleep" explains Teyla

As the ship was noticed Atlantis (Dr Weir) sent a city wide alert sound and raised shields in certain areas, sickbay being one of them.

John shouts "Thats exactly why someone needs to check that thing out, Im going to take a cloaked jumper and have a closer look"

As he starts up the stairs to the jumper bay Elizabeth says "No John that wont work, she can see through cloaks, I wont risk it"

He replies "someone has got to do something about the damned thing, who knows it might actually be hurt"

"How so?" Teyla asks

He replies "well imagine a hurt and sick animal, it gives the appearance of being evil and nasty, but all it wants is some help to relieve its own pain, cute as a puppy afterwards"

"No I dont think so in this case...." she adds "...is that how you would describe the Wraith?"

John kinda shirks and then shakes his head "I guess you're right, but still perhaps we can help some how, ok so it isnt hurting, but couldnt we find out why its being like this and I dunno do something"

I interupt, "You're right John there is a reason for it, I wont go into detail right now, and there is something we can do, but it includes us leaving for now atleast....." I turn to Elizabeth who is already doing what Im about to suggest ".... send a coded transmission to, oh you're on it, ok"

I was going to tell her to inform the flt adm in this galaxy about what we know and how to deal with it, either contain all sleeping crew or wake them no matter their current medical condition, and to avoid contact if possible until we return or send further orders.

I smile as Atlantis is doing just that, I turn to John "Take the helm, do not engage impulse or thrusters, take us directly to slipstream, set co-ordinates for the Talaxian homeworld, among other things, we'll get our answers and the correct kind of help there"

John looks puzzled but he knows to trust me so without a word he engages the engines and we jump to slipstream.

Something is different with this slipstream, when you jump into it visions flash every crew member, not just the sleeping ones. Its a close person of them, horrible multilated, holding their ripped out eyes out to the person who has the vision saying: "Libera tutemet ex inferis..."

And there is more, but not everyone sees the detail. Behind the multilated close one is another person, only her silhouette, odd glowing eyes and grin are seen. It looks a bit like Hash.

Once you're out of slipstream the vision goes with a horrible scream.

Hash has agreed for us to help with the EH2, especially since it appears several of our ships may have fallen victim to her.

Hash's ship, her son's ship and Atlantis have now arrived at the EH2's last known position, in The Andromeda Galaxy.

I contact the Starbase to get a report from The Flt Adm here.
She confirms the EH2 re-opened the blackhole and vanished.
Several ships are unaccounted for.
More recent reports suggest the EH2 may have been seen in the deeper regions of this galaxy, where several starfleet ships are exploring, also ships due for rendevous assignments have not arrived as they should.

Dr Weir & I call Hash & her son to Atlantis briefing room to share the information and plan what to do next.

As we approach the starbase, Atlantis alert siren sounds and several areas of the city go into lock down.

McKay is in the chair room running diagnostics, leaving Zelenka in the control room with us.

Dr Weir: " Zelenka report! whats going on?"

Zelenka: "There's an unauthorized puddle jumper launch in progress"

Dr Weir: "That doesnt explain the lock down, who is in the jumper?"

Zelenka: "No the lock down was an accident, part of McKays diagnostic programme, I did warn him it could do that, but ofcourse he always knows better....." he looks at the jumper bay control panel "... Im reading no-one aboard the jumper, it appears to be on auto pilot, I cant explain it"

Dr Weir: "Shut it down and recall it back to the docking area now"

Zelekna: "I cant, Im locked out, it will not respond" he has a worried look on his face and glares at me and says "It appears to be controlled by an outside source"

As Atlantis I search my own sensors "Confirmed the signal is matching that of the EH2, I'm going to order it to self destruct"

Just then Admiral Sheppard, Teyla, Vice Admiral McKay run into the control room Rodney shouting "this is so not my fault!"

John: "Dont order the self destruct, let it go, we can follow it and pinpoint the location of the EH2 assuming thats where the jumper is heading."

High Admiral Janeway nods in agreement.

I look at them all pausing for a moment, then I look at John "Ok gather your team, you have a go......" as John Teyla & Rodney run upto the bay I shout after them "Maintain an open comlink at all times"

Teyla: "Understood Elizabeth...." she looks behind at Rodney moving rather slowly ".... come on McKay we need to go now before the jumper escapes so we can catch up with it"

Rodney: "Oh great just what I needed today, to catch a suicidal jumper that no doubt will result in our own deaths, and ofcourse Mr genious here has to go along, no doubt so Sheppard can shout FIX IT to me!"

Teyla: "Neither of us wished this to happen today McKay but here we are, now move it!" as she smirks at me almost laughing at McKay

Rodney: "Yeah I'm comming but dont say I didnt warn you"

They soon board another jumper and quickly follow the rogue jumper out of the tower bay hatch.

High Admiral Janeway says on the open channel "Be safe & good luck"

To which I follow "Keep us posted"

I ask Zelenka to relay our status to the starbase, just then a starship exits slipstream and then appears to drift in space, almost like auto pilot was set to reach the starbase.

Zelenka confirms the ship is a drift, faint lifesigns, and also confirms the onboard computer was set to exit slipstream here by the ships Captain.

Dr Weir: "Persuit course, ready a tractor beam to stabilize her, have a boarding team ready"

Zelenka nods to the order then High Admiral Janeway says "I'll go, there's no way to tell whats happened over there, if the crew are under the influence of the EH2 it could be contageous and I wouldnt want to send any more people over there until we're sure."

Dr Weir: "Understood, but keep the boarding party on standby, await Janeway's command"

Atlantis locks onto the ship with a tractor beam, rather than use the transporter, I snap my fingers and appear on the bridge of the Starfleet ship.

I take a quick look around and head straight for the Captain, who like most of his crew, are unconscious.

I pull out my tricorder, readings suggest severe mental trauma but no signs of any infection.

"Computer ship status!" I yell.

The computer responds "All engines and primary systems offline, emergency reserve power and life support at critical levels"

"Explain!" I ask.

"All ships systems deactivated at direct command of the Captain" replies the computer.

"Any sign of computer or system infection?" I ask

"Negative" the computer replies.

"Re Calibrate all diagnostics and re scan all systems" I say

"All systems clear of infection and in standby mode" the computer responds.

"Reactivate all ships systems, bring engines online, match course and speed of Atlantis." I order the computer.

"Acknowledged, all systems online, corse and speed engaged."

I tap my badge "Janeway to Atlantis!"

Elizabeth responds "Weir here, how are things"

"The crew are unconscious, reading suggest severe mental trauma, nothing more, but the ship had been totally shut down by orders of her captain. Sensor records suggest they tried to escape the EH2 and some how she must have been able to get them to shut down. But the captain log suggests he managed to engage slipstream on an auto course to the starbase before falling unconscious himself." I report.

"I see the engines are back online and the ship is now matching our course and speed, disengaging tractor beam." replies Weir.

I look behind the captain's chair near the turbo lift. The ships Doctor is laying on the floor. Judging by the position it looks like she had just exited the turbo lift as she collapsed.

Elizabeth asks "Should I send Becket with a medical team and Zelenka with an engineering team to assist"

I think for a moment, but then the doctor starts to regain consciousness. "Negative Atlantis, the doctor is regaining consciousness, Im going to see if we can fix this with minimal contact to anyone else to be sure. I'll contact you soon, Janeway out!" I reply.

Dr Weir finishes on "Understood, contact us if you need to, Weir Out!"

The com channel closes, just then all the bridge lights and computer consoles come to life and the doctor looks at me.

The doctor still dazed, tries to stand up, but falls to the floor again.

"Easy Doctor, not too fast" I say softly.

She looks at me and laughs softly "Oh my god, what a headache, help me up please"

As I help her up to her feet, I sit her on the chair near tactical, the officer from tactical is not there.

"The Captain!" she yells "I must see to him"

"Relax, he's fine I checked, unconscious but fine, get your barrings first Doctor" I say as I hold her arm to steady her.

A few moments later and her eyes seem to gain focus, and she pulls out her tricorder from her pocket. She shows me data of the crew which matches that of the scan I took of the captain only much more intense. These recordings mst have been taken during the mental attack from the EH2.

I explain that several weeks earlier as we were exiting this galaxy, we experienced a similar thing, but it was during the jump to slipstream and didnt render anyone unconscious. I told her that Beka Valentine did suffer a while later rambling and not seeming to know where she was and was attempting escape from where ever it was she thought she was during her daze, but after that she was fine.

"I've got to wake up the crew and start to work on this" the doctor says.

"Yes let's wake the crew, but we're heading to the Starbase, take your data there, we're investigating a few more missing ships...." I say but before I can finish she shouts "Missing!?"

"... Well we cant contact them and several scheduled rendevouz points havent been met, but I assume where ever they are, they are drifting also, atleast I hope thats all. But we're going to co-ordinate efforts with Atlantis and the Starbase here." I finish.

The doctor taps a few panels near tactical and a mist starts comming from the vents. She looks at me and as the bridge crew begin to wake she says "quicker than doing it one by one" I smile and laugh slightly replying "good thinking but you still need to check for any injuries or those that havent woken, or if any could be dangerous if theres something we missed"

"True, but my main concern was getting the crew up and the ship running again, I'll get to the casualties if any now..." she taps her badge and says "... Doctor to crew, relax for a few moments, gain your whits, if you have any injuries or headaches, any symptoms report to sickbay, if you see any crew in bad shape bring them also."

Just then, the tactical officer exits the Captains office, he explains he had been in there as the Captain was called to the bridge, he fell unconscious almost instantly as the Captain was called.

I nod my head in understanding "Take your station and give me a status report"

He nods back. He walks to tactical and begins working. "All systems functioning, no security problems reported,... well other than this,... "he laughs "...all crew accounted for, including several now entering sickbay" he says and nods at the doctor.

She looks and says "on my way" as she enters the turbo lift.

The Captain suddenly jumps to his feet "REPORT!" he yells

"Take it easy Captain, everything is fine for now, can you take your ship to the starbase." I ask.

He looks at the helm, then at me and smiles "seems we're already underway"

I laugh and smile at him "well yes, but she's only following Atlantis at the moment, but we're going to continue to investigate other missing ships, can you make it there alone, we'll meet later"

The Captain nods, then asks, what about quarantine conditions.

I reply "remain onboard your own ship and use ships communications to contact the base and help in the investigation for now until we can be sure theres no risk to anyone else"

"Understood, as I thought, I was just checking you knew what you were doing" he laughs

I crack a smile "I see you havent lost your sense of humour Captain, things are looking up already, I'll leave this ship back in your hands, you have the bridge Captain."

We smile at each other for a moment and as I snap my fingers to go back to Atlantis I comment "good luck crew" and with that Im back onboard Atlantis.

Elizabeth following my mind at the time, immediately turns to Zelenka, "set course for the nearest missed rendevouz point and begin scans, relay to our jumper where we have gone"

"Yes Atlantis" Zelenka responds and with that Atlantis breaks formation with the ship and heads off.

"So...." says Elizabeth looking at me "... so far so good, or too good to be true"

"Unsure for the moment, but I like to lean towards the former. I dont think its an attack as such, I cant describe it, its like a longing, a loss" I reply and Elizabeth interupts "A child that's lost its parents"

I raise an eye brow and reply "yes exactly, ok so it appears hostile and we know that it has sent several crews against each other to the point of death, but what if its all simply an attempt to communicate, to, to feel wanted. Hash did say she lost her own crew"

Elizabeth responds "well not quite like that but yes, imagine you were a child or anyone, in a hospital, all alone, having all sorts of things done to you, after the initial shock and anger, the main thing would still be the feeling of being alone, for a child even worse and the confusion wil result in several bursts of anger, but non intentional, simply a tantrum or cry for help, feeling that no one is listening"

I nod in agreement "But lets not forget, the crews who have responded havent faired that well, so its not just a case of being alone and wanting company"

Elizabeth responds "No because they werent who she is looking for, and to a further point, not the ones who caused the pain"

I think a while, "Yes a child would be angry even with attention, if a child wants for example its mother and anyone but the mother responds, they often dont like it, at first. But then as you say, she may also be looking for someone to blame"

"Relay our findings to Hash, along with our theories, lets see if we cant tame the beast, or rather sooth the child that is the EH2"

Elizabeth nods and closes her eyes "databurst sent" she says as she opens her eyes again.

It's been almost an hour since the puddle jumper left with John, Teyla & Rodney, in persuit of our rogue auto pilot jumper.

I know Zelenka has just sent them a message with our update and where we're heading to next but I think its time for a check in.

"Zelenka open a channel to our jumper" I say turning to face him.

He nods as the sound for an open channel acts.

"Puddle Jumper 1 this is Weir, Report" I shout

John tells me everything is going fine and they are still following the jumper but have not yet found the EH2, he reports the jumper is on a smooth course, not evading, almost as if it didnt know they were following it.

In the background I can hear Rodney shouting for attention and Teyla telling him to wait his turn.

I giggle lightly and comment "It's ok Teyla let him talk you know he'll blow a fuse if he doesnt, Whats have you got for me Rodney?" I ask and await his response.

Just before Rodney can give me his report John shouts that they have found the rogue jumper and it has docked with the EH2, they're in persuit.

"Good work team, we're on our way" I respond.

John replies "hang on, that thing is opening another black hole,..... We've been spotted she's on the move!"

Teyla adds "Readings from the other side of the black hole indicate she's remaining in this galaxy but will arrive in Beta Quadrant, John is following now"

"John be careful dont take any risks, we'll be there soon, we can collect you and follow on from there" I say basically ordering him not to follow unti we arrive.

"Sorry Elizabeth but if we're to keep track of this thing we gotta act now, who knows where she will go once she gets there, she already knows we're onto her, if we let her go, she'll just open another black hole and be gone by the time we arrive..... I'm going in" Joh shouts and I hear the jumper engines engage.

The transmission is distorted probably due to the effects of the black hole, or the EH2 her self.

"John, Teyla, Rodney respond" I shout.

I faintly hear Teyla yell that they have cloaked and docked with the EH2 and will relay their position once they get to where they're going.

Anxious to get to them, rather than ask Zelenka to engage the engines, I open a city wide channel and say "All hands prepare for slipstream jump" and with that I think and engage the engines my self.

High Admiral Janeway, knowing what was going on sent a databurst to the Starbase informing them of our actions and giving them permission to continue the investigation of our still missing starfleet ships and to proceed with caution.

Fleet Admiral Atlantis/Dr Elizabeth Weir Log, Stardate 201208.10 Time Index 06.40

We arrived at the last position of our puddle jumper and the EH2, prior to them entering the artificial black hole, we've taken some readings of the near by area to gather more data about the EH2 capabilities and behaviour.

After receiving the beacon from our puddle jumper we're now enroute to rendevouz with them and the EH2, with any luck we will now be able to capture and tame her.

"Zelenka have a team ready to gather any data our away team has got, analyse it and see if there's anything we can use in our efforts to tame the rogue jumper and the EH2"

Zelenka moves away from the control room and heads for one of the research labs and to gather his team.

Another officer replaces him at the controls

"Helm set course for our jumper beacon and engage slipstream engines..... All hands prepare for jump to slipstream"

"Starbase GXA-01, This is Deputy CnC High Admiral Littler, Flt Adm Sammie Young is on her way aboard the Galactica Actual, she will be taking command of the region follow her orders as you would your previous commanding officer...

...Atlantis she's on her way, I've asked her to check in with you when she arrives, and to take up her duties locating our ships while you continue the search for the EH2, good luck, Littler Out!"
