I hear an echo of my transmission, I turn and see Beka's hand com.

"Darn something must really be wrong, its not like Beka to be totally out of reach, well if she wants her space.... I'll leave a message, plus Trance is here somehwere so they will be fine"

I walk over to one of the consoles and record a message, programmed to activate if either Trance or Beka come aboard the Maru.

"Hey girls its Rommy, I came to check if you guys were ok...." holding up Beka's com "...but all I found was this, I'm heading back to our ship at Starbase GXA-01, we have a day left then we will be heading back to HQ in Milky Way, so you know where to find us, Rommy out!"

I climb back aboard the slipfighter and head back to the starbase and dock the fighter back in its bay on my ship self, then I head to the bridge and make my self busy preparing for tomorrow's departure.

Rommie, it's trance. I'm inthe city near the mess hall, beka is here as well. "wonders why Rommie came planet side after asking me to keep an eye on beka" Everything okay? I wasn't expecting you here.

By this time I was already back on board my ship when Trance called.

I respond "Hey Trance I just came to see if everything was ok, we'll be leaving starbase tomorrow, I've left a message on the Maru for you and Beka, did you find her, as all I found was her com device, she left it on the Maru. I'm a little worried about her this isnt normal for Beka"

*I'm quietly working on the bridge console just checking routine data and looking to see where all the com badges are displayed. I look round when the bridge doors are activated to see who is arriving. I haven't been introduced to all of the crew yet*

I exit my ready room and I notice Adm Selek at his station busy at work as usual.

"Having fun Mr Selek" I joke and smile.

"Begin recalling the crew we're due to depart in a few hours I'd like to make final preparations and make sure all are aboard by then"

I go over to the helm, make a few inputs to the console, then walk back and sit in my chair on the bridge.

Engaging in a little idle conversation I ask "So who do you think will be the last aboard?", I say leaning toward Mr Paris.

Just then the turbo lift arrives at the bridge and Naomi Wildman walks out and toward me, she is carrying a padd which she hands to me.

It's a report from the doctor, complaining about certain crew and their intoxication levels.

I laugh as I read it commenting "well so long as they're fit for duty....."

I look at Naomi "Thank you miss Wildman..... so ready for the trip home?"

As the time approaches for us to head back to HQ, some of the officers begin to return, but to be sure I make an announcement

Tapping my badge I say "Crew of Andromeda, report back to stations we will be departing for the Milky Way in 3 hours, all crew are to be aboard and stations fully manned by that time, Rommy out!"

Beka & Trance still have not returned yet, so I send a data burst to the Maru, telling them we will rendezvous at HQ, with an ETA to HQ.

My ship self appears on screen "You know of course you;ll probably have to drag harper back aboard" she laughs.

"Tell me about it" I reply

*I look at the Captain as she questions Mr Paris as to who will be the last back on the ship. I don't see the need to tell her that there is a ship betting pool run by Neelix in the dining room about that very topic. Neelix himself took my bet that he would be the last one back while he was in the area set aside as a mess hall. I surpress a chuckle as I remember asking him about the green leaf vegetation he was going to buy and watching him leave the ship to buy it. I've calculated the time it will take him to get to all the places he wants to trade in and, unless someone has violated a law on the planet and been arrested, the rest of the crew should be back before him. I glance over at the captain.* Most of the crew are already back on the ship. Neelix briefly stopped off to get more food for the ship but he should be back soon.

At the helm, Tom comments "If I had to put money on it, this time I'd choose Harry, you know his history of 'the wrong woman', he met someone quite interesting in the bar aboard the starbase. She wasn't interested but you know Harry"

I laugh and add "Poor Harry.....Will he ever find the right one?"

Just then, my husband and first officer, Flt Adm Chakotay, walks in smiling and laughing to him self.

"Whats so funny Chakotay, care to share?"

He sits down next to me and says "I've just had an interesting conversation with one very smitten Harry Kim, soothing a broken heart, he should be here in a moment he's gone to sick bay, claims he has a headache"

I look at Tom who is holding his hands up in defeat "Guess thats you outta the race huh Tom"

I knew about the pool Neelix had been running, I knew I'd lost as soon as Naomi handed me the doctor's report, I thought the doctor would still be chasing half our crew around scanning them on shore leave, but seems he is back already, I wonder to my self who is left.

I look at the data pad and laugh "ha Mr Neelix will be disappointed he came last in his own pool....so who won then, anyone care to own up" I smirk.

I look at the helm, "Tom clear us for departure, as soon as we're clear of the starbase, engage slipstream"

Looking back at Selek "We're headed back to HQ in the Milky Way for our next mission orders"

I then tap my badge "Janeway to all hands, secure all stations and prepare for jump to slipstream, Janeway Out!"

Tom was busy at the helm, and the ship starts moving slowly away from Starbase GXA-01 "We're cleared to depart, engineering reports full power on all flight modes, 2 minutes until we're clear and in open space" he says.

"Steady as she goes Tom, engage when ready....."

I walk to my ready room "I'll be in my ready room, inform me when we arrive back home, Chakotay you have the bridge"

As the doors close behind me I think to my self, Damn and I almost guessed Neelix too.

I grad some coffee from the replicator and sit at the window and watch as, Voyager 1 & Andromeda also appear to be departing starbase and then we enter slipstream.

I go over to my desk and start reviewing recent crew reports.

The rest period has ended and we're all back to work, searching out colonies and ships that have failed to report in or suddenly seem to have vanished and unheard from in a while.

The planet we were heading for suddenly contacted us and told us that they had power failures due to storms but they things are fine again now.

But to be sure I reply back to them.

"Being as we are already here mind if we check out a few things to be sure, plus we could be of assistance if you require it"

An acceptance reply comes back welcoming our arrival.

Seems normal, I think to my self.

John & Teyla are in the control room at this point so I look at them and says

"Get your team ready, Rodney & Ronan too, and transport down, lets make sure things are as they say they are before we move on"

" Trance had gotten distracted by one of the Atlantis personnel and lost track of beka in the mess hall, after nearly 3 hours of searching I deicide to head to the maru hoping she is there. Once on board I call out for her"

Beka, are you here? It's me trance.

" I say to myself maybe she's up front of the ship, so I go and no beka but I notice a message on the screen from Rommie letting beka and I know to come back now. I deicide it's probably best to tell rommie in person that I lost track of beka. I disappear from the maru and reappear in command, catching rommie off guard."

Since Beka & Trance didnt arrive on time I got worried, I left HQ in Milky Way Galaxy and set course back to the planet the Maru had been on in Andromeda Galaxy

Mid way Trance appears on the command deck right behind me.

"Oh Trance you startled me, I was getting worried about you both so decided to come look for you, since you're here I'm guessing it isnt good news"

Trance tells me she lost track of Beka and now cant find her, she isnt on the Maru, she isnt on the planet and she isnt with Atlantis either.

"Well Atlantis left the planet a while agoto continue its mission, but Beka stayed planet side, the Maru was there last time I seen it"

Trance shakes her head and tells me the Maru is on the planet but as far as she can tell Beka is not.

I inform Trance about the ships from a mirror verse pretending to be our fleet, and that some have tricked our bases into giving them our upgrades and they now pretend to be us but are not.

I am now worried that they may have Beka.

"Looks like this has become a search and rescue, we'll check the planet again first and collect the Maru, contact Elizabeth on Atlantis and be sure she has not seen Beka, then we will search further"

A Destiny Class ship drops out of slipstream alongside the other vessels, the ship had USS FALCON written in large white writing on one side.

"Open a channel" Captain Vanessa James turned her head to the technician on the terminal next to her, the technician nodded and a buzz indicated the open channel

"All Starfleet Vessels, this is Captain James of the USS Falcon do you read?"

James stood up from her seat and stood infront of the window amazed by the ships she saw, awaiting a reply.
While she waited she tapped her earpiece and spoke through to the engine technicians

"How did she handle the flight?"

James' earpiece buzzed and a voice replied "The engines are running smoothly, everything is 100% down here Captain"

In the control room of Atlantis, Rodney tells me that the Falcon has entered this galaxy and sending fleet wide message of her arrival.

"She's finally out of dry dock excellent, who did they pick as Captain? I ask

"Vanessa James, and quite rightly so if I may add" replies Rodney.

"Patch me through to the Falcon..." I say and Rodney nods at me and gives me the thumbs up, of course I could quite easily do it my self through my own systems but I like the way things run, just because they know I'm the city now doesn't mean that should change.

"Captain James, this is Atlantis, welcome to The Andromeda Galaxy, and indeed congratulations of your promotion and new ship. Make best speed to our position, you'll be our support ship and assist with our mission"

I send a data burst to the Falcon with our current mission agenda.

"Hope to see you soon, Weir out!"

Zelenka looks at me, "The Falcon, that's a Destiny class ship isnt it?"

I nod at him "she is indeed and will be a great help in our mission".
